CT SCAN
“CT” stands for computed tomography which means to “picture a plane” . CT scanners generates two – and three – dimensional cross-sectional images of a patient using X-ray technology. CT scans allow our specialists to do several things including:
- Assess extent of trauma, bleeding of chest, abdomen or head
- Detect or confirm the presence of a tumor
- Determine size and location of tumor and whether it has metastasized (or spread)
- Plan therapy or surgery
- And more…

FLUOROSCOPY
Fluoroscopy is an imaging technique that obtains realtime images through the use of taking radiographs. This allows our specialists to observe exactly what they are doing during procedures by watching monitors. Common procedures that need fluoroscopy are:
- Minimally invasive fracture repair
- SI luxation (sacroiliac luxation)
- Swallowing disorders
